HARRISBURG, Ill. (KFVS) – Employees of nine businesses in Harrisburg, Illinois have been cited for reportedly selling alcohol to minors.
According to the Harrisburg Police Department, on Thursday, January 23, the police department and Illinois Liquor Control Commission conducted alcohol compliance checks at 16 businesses that sell alcohol in the City of Harrisburg.
Police say that employees from nine of those sixteen businesses were cited for unlawful gift or sale of alcohol to a minor.
Those citations were issued to the following persons at the locations listed below:
- Bessie Cudney – Aldi
- Cory Diefenbach – Little Vegas
- Kimberlea Rich – Tequilas
- Patricia Carlson – Jennas Gaming
- George Wilson – Speakeasy
- Bhavana Akula – Farm Fresh
- Alvaro Garcia Martinez – El Ranchitos
- Jamie Santana – JoJo’s
- Eric Warren – JD’s Gaming
The police department says that these are only informal charges.
